On 14 November 1899, August Horch (1868-1951) founded a company called A. Horch & Cie. in the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne, but because of a quarrel between him and the company's supervisory board, Horch had to resign.

Several years later, Horch founded a second company called Horch Automobil-Werke GmbH in 1909. The first creation of Audi cars, Audi Type A 10-powered 22 hp Sport-Phaeton, produced in 1910 in Zwickau.

Audi AG is a German car manufacturers that sell cars in various classes and rates for the upper middle class. The company is fully owned (99.5%) by the Volkswagen Group since 1966. Positioned as the luxury car class.

The company is headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. The company name is actually derived from the nickname of its founder August Horch, who has a sense of "hearing" and if translated into Latin, became Audi.

BMW Wallpapers

BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke, or in English, Bavarian Motor Works), is a German automotive company which manufactures cars and motorcycles. BMW was founded in 1916 by Franz Josef Popp.

BMW AG is the parent company of brands MINI and Rolls-Royce, and, formerly Rover. BMW is known as one of the company's high-performance luxury cars, and also one of the first car company to use the ABS technology.

In 1992, BMW acquired the company's industrial design studio DesignworksUSA in California, and acquired full-year 1995. In 1994, BMW bought Rover Group UK automotive companies (of which there was a brand of Rover, Land Rover and MG brands as well as rights that are no longer produced the Austin and Morris) and have it for 6 years.

In 2000, Rover suffered huge losses and BMW were sold. MG and Rover brands sold to the Phoenix Consortium to form MG Rover, while Land Rover was taken over Ford. BMW eventually established his own brand he named MINI, which was launched in 2001.

Hummer Wallpapers

Hummer is a brand of truck and SUV which was first sold in 1992 by AM General when they began selling a civilian version of the model M998 Humvee.

In 1998, General Motors bought this brand and sells three models of vehicles: the original model Hummer H1, the base of the Humvee, the Hummer H2 and Hummer H3 are taken from the base platform models of GM vehicles.

Business viability of the brand has been evaluated by the GM management since 2008. This brand is not transferred to the Liquidation Company Motors when GM went bankrupt in 2009. GM plans to sell this brand.
